Dude, you should totally be offended. I am too. I don't consider Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson to be representative of 99.99% of Americans. Yet both are the douchiest douchebags from the Land of Douchebagia. Douchebagia exists in America, but not all of us are members. They are very extreme and controversial in their views, but both are given far too much of a soap box. Say what you need to say, Anne & Tucker, but don't drag the other 99.99% of us Americans into your ill informed conservative clusterfuck. No thanks. I don't want to play. I don't take either of them seriously, nor do I consider them relevant in any conceivable way.

I'm sorry, for whatever it's worth. I was offended too. I've enjoyed my own experiences in Canada immensely, and all of the people I've met are pretty awesome. In thinking about it, it makes complete sense that Canada and the US need each other equally. We're neighbors, and we're friends. We're equals, and we're peers. We don't always agree, but we've got each other's back regardless. We have some different philosophies about things sometimes, but it's not a very big deal. We'll laugh about it over some beers sometime.

As for Anne and Tucker... the next train to Douchebagia leaves in ten minutes. I suggest that they both get on it, or Tucker may not be pleased at where is bow tie gets crammed. Anne's head will have to be removed from her ass somehow to make it a possibility, but this is but a small, small, priced to pay.

Ok, well this is all great to hear. I love that there are people out there who don't agree with the media. My only concern is for those people that DO. Blindly following these asshats around is never going to end well.

Mind you, I am apparently blogging from the steam-powered safety of my little northern Igloo...wait, I have the Internets...so it must be hereinafter called an 'i-Gloo'.

People wonder why Americans (used in the most general sense) have such a reputation. I think that, if these two douchebags were considered to be ambassadors, the reason would lie with them.

I know it isn't the case with 99.999% of Americans...that last 0.001% seems the most vocal...and therefor the most likely cause of this reputation.

I almost feel sorry for you. I can imagine what it must have been like growing up. Mommy putting you in little cardigans or sweater vests, so her precious little gunt-spawn wouldn't get cold. To be offended by these muppets is to give what they say some kind of power, which will just sell them another book and television appearance.

I seriously doubt these two mouth pieces could organize mount a war on Michael Moore's refrigerator, let alone Canada.

I prefer to let the hopelessly ignorant remain hopelessly ignorant. Trying to achieve anything better from them is just energy that could be better expended on something positive.

Ignore them, and they will go away, that's what I say.
